Nationally Ranked During 2017 Season
In 2017, the Cal Poly Women's Water Polo team made it to the championship game at the CWPA Nationals Tournament in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. There they took the title for 2nd place in the Nation.

In 2017, the Women's Water Polo team was nominated for a LEAD award, selected as the winners of the CP Club Sports Polython, and the recipients of the Club Sport of the Year Award!
